Fundamentals of Crowd Management

Registration is closed for this event
In the wake of several deadly fires around the country, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) made numerous changes to the codes and standards governing safety in assembly occupancies, including requiring trained crowd managers in assembly venues. An assembly is ANY occupancy where 50 or more people gather (employees and/or guests). This presentation covers the fundamental aspects of crowd management programs and required training. It will also prepare you to train others and to advocate for crowd management to ensure the safety of attendees at events held at your facilities.
