      <title>On-Site Safety Professional in Washington, DC</title>
      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;ERG is seeking a Safety Specialist to support occupational safety and health programs. The Safety Specialist will&amp;nbsp;assist&amp;nbsp;clients in&amp;nbsp;maintaining&amp;nbsp;safe workplaces through regulatory compliance, safety program implementation, inspections, training, and technical support. This position requires a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, excellent technical writing abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.&amp;nbsp;This is a&amp;nbsp;full-time&amp;nbsp;onsite position at&amp;nbsp;a&amp;nbsp;federal government agency&amp;nbsp;in Washington, D.C.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Conduct safety inspections, assessments, and evaluations of industrial, construction, laboratory, and office environments&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Evaluate workplace conditions and identify potential hazards, recommending corrective actions and risk mitigation measures&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Develop technical reports, safety documentation, training materials, and outreach communications with minimal editing requirements&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support safe work practices and regulatory compliance across projects&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Required Qualifications and Skills:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Physical Sciences, or a related field&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;3 to 5 years of professional experience in occupational safety, environmental health and safety&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, NFPA codes, and other workplace safety standards&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Strong technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Experience preparing reports, training materials, and safety documentation.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Professional certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is preferred, but not required&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI&gt;&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;Must currently hold or maintain a Department of Defense security clearance of Top SECRET&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

  &lt;LI style="list-style: none"&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
