Tour of National Park Service of NCR Museum Resource Center

Tour will include: - A walk-thru of the facility to view the worksites and some of the items that they have on site. - A discussion of the activities that take place on site and the associated hazards. Their primary activities include preparation and restoration of specimens; curating collections at local Park Service sites; emergency response; and, temporary storage of excess materials from Regional Park Service facilities and those threatened by natural calamities. - A brief talk with slides show that summarizes previous issues, their emergency response work, and the hazards encountered during these activities.
