This presentation, AIHA Government Relations and Public Relations – Working Together to Fill the OEHS Pipeline, will cover: an update about the AIHA Government Relations efforts in 2021 and the objectives on the horizon in 2022; an overview of AIHA’s Public Relations initiatives and Public Awareness Campaign that was rolled out in 2020, including how the profession was brought to the forefront in light of COVID-19, and a glimpse at the plan for the future; how the G.R. and P.R. departments at AIHA are working together to achieve the same strategic goal of filling the pipeline of OEHS professionals using different but complementary tactics; and finally, how you can get involved in these impactful efforts.
